About the Mayne farm

Our farm is located in Puy l'Eveque, a picturesque village built on a rocky outcrop overlooking the river Lot.

Situated behind a thirteenth century keep, the last remaining vestige of a Bishop’s Palace, the city is tiered in medieval, ochre houses down to the dock where an active port is neighboring the local artisan quarter.

True cradle of French gastronomy, the Quercy Périgord region is strongly influenced and famous for duck cuisine, particularly foie gras. We take special care to perpetuate the traditional culinary heritage transmitted to us by our grandparents.

For 30 years, we have been producing the best Foie Gras by

feeding our ducks local, top quality feed. Our ducks are raised in the countryside, roaming in large green fields in the heart of a vast forest populated by chestnut trees.

It is in this authentic setting that we raise our ducks and produce our canned goods each year. Our customers will ensure you of the quality and enjoyment of our products.

Every summer we take great joy in participating in farmer’s markets where we offer our Foie Gras dishes, duck confit, and aiguillettes à la plancha, all accompanied by traditional accordion melodies.
